Open Track @ Shadow Ridge is open to all ages and abilities. The mission of Open Track is to provide the community an opportunity to improve fitness through fellowship and exercise. Coach Nietert provides workouts for all levels of runners and multiple distances. If you are looking to just walk or jog consistently, you can do that too. We meet every Wednesday Night at Shadow Ridge. 6:15 pm will start warm ups and drills followed by the workout at 6:30 pm. We will provide instruction and everything you need. This is a training and informative opportunity for all levels. Our Program follows 12 week cycles focused to improve endurance and speed. We progress in those weeks in 3 blocks of Endurance, Alternations, Pace, and Speed. Come out and join us.

Dysart Unified School District's Community Education Department offers a Learners Permit Course. This 2 Hour Instructional Course helps to prepare students for their Permit Exam. Students who successfully complete the program and pass the online test will receive an email with instructions to go to MVD with the required documents to pick up their Learners Permit. Prior to class, an account must be created with MVD and the $7.00 MVD Learners Permit Test paid for. Upon arrival to class, the student will need to know their login and password to the MVD account created.
