Next Level Mindset Classes
This is the first year for the Next Level Mindset Course. All athletes, whether beginning or experienced, deal with the pressures to perform, grow, and compete. What gets athletes to the next level is not only their physical abilities, but the mindset to endure and thrive in all areas of their sport and life. Our objective is to use role play, practice, discuss, and plan the following areas to increase mindset performance:
Practice: Play out situational challenges to invoke stress, breathing techniques, visualization, and self-talk.
Reflection: Discussion of Challenges, Sharing/Relating with other athletes (Round Table), “What would you change?”
Implementation: Athletes will apply skills learned in the situational challenges as the course evolves, development of plans to reset, breath, and focus in play/competition, create SMART Goals for the upcoming season(s).
This course will educate your athlete(s) on how to use their mindset to get them to the next level. Progressing and using the skills above will help each athlete to “control their controllables” and be more confident in performance, leading to fewer and fewer excuses.
