Break CampsDysart Summer Camp registration is now open. Summer Camp will be held at Freedom Traditional Academy, Rancho Gabriela and Sunset Hills Elementary. Summer Camp is from June 1st to July 24th. Students will participate in a variety of fun activities such as arts and crafts, Field Trips, STEM projects, robotics and gaming, and water days. The weekly camp costs $190 for five days and $170 for four days. Additional children receive a 15% discount. Participation is available for children ages 5-12. Students will enjoy a wide variety of on site fun-filled, educational and physical activities. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Participation is flexible for family convenience. CPR & First AidOur First Aid CPR AED Course teaches students lifesaving skills in CPR, how to use an AED and First Aid basics which include, medical, injury and environmental emergencies. Class is taught by AHA Certified Instructors with Everyday Heroes CPR, LLC Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an AHA K12 Course Completion Card valid for 2 years. Class is open to all students in the K12 School District. This course meets graduation requirements.Category -

Community Open TrackPhysical EnrichmentOpen Track @ Shadow Ridge is open to all ages and abilities. The mission of Open Track is to provide the community an opportunity to improve fitness through fellowship and exercise. Coach Nietert provides workouts for all levels of runners and multiple distances. If you are looking to just walk or jog consistently, you can do that too. We meet every Wednesday Night at Shadow Ridge. 6:15 pm will start warm ups and drills followed by the workout at 6:30 pm. We will provide instruction and everything you need. This is a training and informative opportunity for all levels. Our Program follows 12 week cycles focused to improve endurance and speed. We progress in those weeks in 3 blocks of Endurance, Alternations, Pace, and Speed. Come out and join us.Winter 2025-2026

DRIVERS ED - Learners Permit CoursesDriver's EducationDysart Unified School District's Community Education Department offers a Learners Permit Course. This 2 Hour Instructional Course helps to prepare students for their Permit Exam. Students who successfully complete the program and pass the online test will receive an email with instructions to go to MVD with the required documents to pick up their Learners Permit. Prior to class, an account must be created with MVD and the $7.00 MVD Learners Permit Test paid for. Upon arrival to class, the student will need to know their login and password to the MVD account created. Dance & AcroIn Motion DanceIn Motion Dance is a dance experience that will provide your child the dance studio instruction without the dance studio price! The instructors bring the experience of teaching students from age 3 up to adults in the areas of acro, ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap and more! We feel it is important to teach all students proper technique from the beginning of their dance training. The instructors are skilled in teaching all levels of students from the beginner to the competition level. It is not only our goal to teach every student valuable dance skills but also teach them valuable life skills. Classes currently offered are for ages 3 up to adult. Two levels of competition teams are offered with auditions held in May/June of every year. When registering your child for a class(s), they must be the minimum age for the class by December 31st, 2026. Drivers Ed - FallDriver's EducationStarting SoonDysart Unified School District's Community Education Department offers an Arizona Department of Transportation approved Drivers Education program for high school students including behind-the-wheel training for students that are at least 15 years, 6 months. Students must have their driving permit in order to receive the behind-the-wheel training. We do offer a separate Drivers Education Learners Permit Seminar. See below for more information. Students who successfully complete the program, which requires 100% attendance, will receive an official Driver Education Certificate which fulfills the state requirement for the Graduated License. The program is offered several times throughout the school year and over the summer. For more information, please contact: driversed@dysart.org. The cost for the class is $600 and includes behind-the-wheel training. We do offer a 20% discount for Dysart Employees only. Send us an email, via your Dysart email to driversed@dysart.org to receive the discount code. Each session is 10 weeks long; 5 weeks of lecture followed by 5 weeks of behind-the-wheel*. Summer Sessions are condensed. We have expanded and offer two different lecture options. The traditional Saturdays and now a Tuesday/Thursday option in the afternoons after school. Registration limit for each of the Sessions is 28 Students. Behind the wheel time is scheduled throughout the week and on weekends. You will have the option to choose the time that works best for you during the lecture portion of the class. If you have any other additional questions, please email driversed@dysart.org. Fall Session I: The lecture portion of the course will be held beginning Saturday August 1st, 2026.
